May 28th, 2020.

Based on recent developments with regard to the COVID-19 and protocols set forth by various organizations, including the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, I will continue to offer therapy sessions through video conferencing, which meets all the PHIPA and PIPEDA privacy laws, or by telephone until further notice. It is my hope that you will feel comfortable having your sessions via one of these two mediums.

For those of you unfamiliar with video conferencing, the program I use, Jane App,  allows for us to have a video call while providing for end-to-end encryption that complies with Ontario privacy legislation requirements to protect your confidentiality. The platform does not save or record any data, so offers clients the same level of privacy as if we were meeting face-to-face. The platform is fairly straightforward and user-friendly. All you will need to do is click on a link to connect.

If you are a bit tech adverse but would like the benefit of the video call, I am happy to coach you through getting connected if you require assistance.

If you have any questions or concerns at all, please don’t hesitate to email me.

Thank you in advance for your understanding and I hope that you and your loved ones continue to be in good health.

Erin Wright
